read the April issue of rez in Issuu:
It’s official! Spring is here and so are those opportunities to sit in the garden and read the latest fiction and poetry from our great stable of writers and prophets. Art Linden starts us off with Godot Digital, where Robin Wright rubs elbows with Godot, the game machine. Hilarity ensues. Jami Mills follows with Chapter Two of her sci-fi installment, Wishbone One: The Training. Fasten your seat belts for this one. We always have known that Annie Mesmeriser knows her blues…now we understand that she knows her way around a recording studio, in A Blues Tale: The Fire Station. Cat Boccaccio muses over the word “qualm” and writes a fascinating short piece on the word’s myriad forms in Dinosaur Family Unit. COVID is a poem from our favorite, Dearstluv Writer, who takes another look at the deadly pandemic that has been having its way with the world for far too long now. In Home for the Bone, Rakshowes describes familiar things in unfamiliar and beautiful ways. Neruval, the owl of Art, flies in on a zephyr with Fleas, which I’ll just say you have to read to believe. On a hot streak is Zymony Guyot, this month contributing Statistical Corpses, which doesn’t pull any punches. Fabulous poetry! Speaking of which, Jullianna Juliesse brings us Helix Nebula, a poem as vast as space itself. Finally, Flynt Firebrand closes with a wonderful piece, SLT, which reminds us not to wait too long. All in all, a wonderful spring lineup. Enjoy!
