Guns, guns, guns. Do we have enough guns yet? Are we safer
if we introduce even more guns into our fractured society?
This is the backdrop for this month’s issue of
rez, intended for the idle enjoyment of curious minds. The Chinese curse is
“May you live in interesting times.” And for all the curses we feel in our
bones, we have writers, poets and artists who summon a different message. And
that message has never come forth stronger than in this month’s issue, bringing
together some of our favorite writers and poets.

Yes. Jullianna Juliesse? Annie Mesmeriser? Are you kidding me? Yes. Art Blue? Of
course. Consuela Hypatia Caldwell and Zati Kodaly? Yes, again. Klannex
Northmead? Thank God. Volodomyr Zelensky? Yes. This is our world to shape as we
see fit. Shape it. Enjoy this month’s issue.
