Read the August issue of rez in Issuu:
There’s not that much more reading one can do before the end of Summer. So let’s get right to it. The incomparable Art Blue starts us off with MathArt.ICU, a searing tribute to his friend, the late artist and visionary Herbert Franke. We’re grateful to include the wow quality of Zymony Guyot with Deadline Daddy, a tale of timemonkeys and nickscars. So enamored we were with the imaginative extravaganza Le Cirque de Nuit that we’re reprinting Jami Mills’s review of Idle Rogue’s 2016 performance. RoseDrop Rust dusts off his classic texts, long lost between his bookends, with What They’re Doing Here. We love Dearstluv Writer’s poetry and she shines with I Am Who I Think I Am. Oh, Bucket, by Cat Boccaccio, is another wonderful example of her choice morsels of mood and word. We bathe in the soothing images that Consuela Hypatia Caldwell evokes in The Bird. And that about wraps things up for this issue. Be safe and jubilant.
